Envelhecimento: Aposentadoria e Velhice – Fases Da Vida
Abstract
Este artigo objetiva apresentar o marco do processo de envelhecimento, que inicia desde a concepção e passa por várias fases do desenvolvimento humano. Como marco, entendemos aqui, uma das fases já avançadas do desenvolvimento que é o indivíduo idoso e a velhice. Nesta fase, convive-se com a aposentadoria, sendo esta também um momento de transição para a velhice. Estudos iniciais se voltavam apenas para as perdas desse momento da vida. A proposta deste trabalho - que fez parte de uma pesquisa de doutorado - é apresentar outro olhar e busca, além de diferenciar conceitos, apresentar os avanços atuais destes estudos. O aumento da população longeva pode ser constatado nos últimos anos, no cenário mundial e brasileiro. Sendo assim, é preciso mostrar a importância desses estudos e compreender os ganhos que podem surgir com o acréscimo de anos de vida ativa, considerada com relevância em tempos atuais.
