Envelhecimento: Aposentadoria e Velhice – Fases Da Vida

Abstract

Este artigo objetiva apresentar o marco do processo de envelhecimento, que inicia desde a concepção e passa por várias fases do desenvolvimento humano. Como marco, entendemos aqui, uma das fases já avançadas do desenvolvimento que é o indivíduo idoso e a velhice. Nesta fase, convive-se com a aposentadoria, sendo esta também um momento de transição para a velhice. Estudos iniciais se voltavam apenas para as perdas desse momento da vida. A proposta deste trabalho - que fez parte de uma pesquisa de doutorado - é apresentar outro olhar e busca, além de diferenciar conceitos, apresentar os avanços atuais destes estudos. O aumento da população longeva pode ser constatado nos últimos anos, no cenário mundial e brasileiro. Sendo assim, é preciso mostrar a importância desses estudos e compreender os ganhos que podem surgir com o acréscimo de anos de vida ativa, considerada com relevância em tempos atuais.

Author Biography

Janes Santos Herdy, Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)

Janes Santos Herdy possui graduação em Psicologia pela Faculdade Celso Lisboa (1978) e mestrado em Psicologia (Psicologia Social) pela Universidade Gama Filho (1990). Em 1983 especializou-se em Psicologia do Trabalho (Faculdade Celso Lisboa e em 2001 especializou-se em Dinâmica de Grupo pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. Atualmente é professora Adjunto IV da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Tem experiência na área de Psicologia, com ênfase em Psicologia do Trabalho e Organizacional, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: ambientação de pessoas, qualidade de vida, desenvolvimento de pessoas e da organização, dinâmica de grupo. Seu principal interesse em pesquisa está voltado ao envelhecimento ativo e aposentadoria. Defendeu sua tese de doutorado em Psicologia do Trabalho pela Universidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina, em .07 de Maio de 2018. Participa do "Núcleo Interdisciplinar de Estudos e Pesquisas em Gerontologia Social (NIEPGS) e da Associação Nacional de Pesquisas e Estudos sobre envelhecimento (ASPEN).
