Abstract
This article aims to analyze public forests management in the state of Pará Brazil and the application of resources from the State Fund for Forestry Development - FUNDEFLOR in the period from 2015 to 2017, seeking to identify the sources of revenue, the origin and destination of the resources, as stablished by Law No. 12,527 / 11, and also, to check that the transfers of resources comply with the distribution percentage, according to State Law No. 8,096 / 15. It is a bibliographical, documentary, exploratory and descriptive research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Findings identified that of the Fund's revenues, the largest source originates from forestry concession, which in 2015 was 73.73%, in 2016 71.91% and in 2017 67.08% of the total amount available. The distribution and application of the funds obey what is determined by State Law No. 6.963 / 2006, which governs the Fund, however the available resource for the promotion of the final projects managed by FUNDEFLOR had an application corresponding to 50% of its totality, with an important impact over regional sustainable development.
