The impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on public employment

Abstract

What are the types of new professional profiles and new competencies that the public administration of the future requires? How to govern and manage the new organization of work in public employment? The new organizational challenge of public employment under the impact of the revolution of digitalization, robotization and artificial intelligence is both fascinating and urgent object of study. In this paper, we try to answer these questions and address, from a global perspective, the challenges associated with the impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on public employment.

Carles Ramió Matas, Dr., Universitat Pompeu Fabra

Carles Ramió Matas es doctor en Ciencias Políticas y de la Administración por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona y ha sido director de la Escola d’Administració Pública de Catalunya. Actualmente es catedrático de Ciencia Política y de la Administración en la Universitat Pompeu Fabra, donde ha ocupado el cargo de vicerrector y decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Gestión Pública.
